The Ultimate Taco Salad – quick and easy, full of your favorite taco salad ingredients, and drizzled with a delicious spicy dressing!  Taco Salad is a great, on-the-go salad you can pack for work or school.  And serving this salad in my Crunchy Taco Salad Bowl makes this the Ultimate Taco Salad! 

Taco Salad is one of my go-to recipes when I have a fridge full of somewhat random ingredients.  Its a great way to use up leftover chicken, steak, or ground turkey and throw in any veggies you love.  I like to top it with a spicy Srirachi Mayo dressing for a little extra flavor.

What makes this salad SOO good, though, is the Crunchy Taco Salad Bowl its served in.  The crunchy bowl is always the best part of any restaurant taco salad, right?  Its the perfect vessel for all the delicious ingredients!  These bowls only take a couple of minutes and can be stored in an airtight container to use whenever you need a quick lunch or dinner.  Here’s the recipe for them:

How to build the Ultimate Taco Salad:

  • Make the Crunchy Taco Salad Bowls 
  • Fill the bowl with lots of shredded lettuce
  • Add black beans, chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, black olives, corn, jalapenos, and any other ingredients you love
  • Add leftover chicken, steak, or ground turkey
  • Top with shredded cheese
  • Drizzle with Srirachi Mayo

Ingredients
  

Taco Salad Ingredients

  • 3 oz chicken, steak, or ground turkey
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Black beans
  • Corn
  • Chopped tomatoes
  • Chopped onion
  • Black olives
  • Shredded cheddar cheese

For the Srirachi Mayo

  • 1 tbsp Srirachi hot sauce
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise

Instructions
 

Make the Crunchy Taco Salad Bowl. * See post for recipe *

    For the Taco Salad:

    • Add shredded lettuce, chopped tomatoes, chopped onion, black beans, black olives, corn, and shredded cheese to the bowl. Top with chicken, steak, or ground turkey.
    • Top with Srirachi Mayo dressing.

    To make the Srirachi Mayo:

    • In a small bowl, mix 1 tbsp of Srirachi hot sauce and 3 tbsp of mayonnaise together and stir well.

      It sounds wonderful. Cant wait to make my own taco bowl. And the sriracha mayo never thought of making something like that. I love adding my own roasted chilies into a taco salad. And homemade salsa.
