Having a handful of delicious, EASY recipes as you head to college is a must! There will be many times when the dining hall just feels like too much and you just want something that feels a little like home.
This Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Bowl is ready in 10 minutes and is a great protein-packed recipe no matter what time of the day you eat it.
Here’s how to make my Sausage, Egg & Cheese Breakfast Bowl in just 10 minutes!
Ingredients:
- pre-cooked, frozen sausage crumbles (found in the freezer aisle with breakfast items)
- 2 eggs
- shredded cheese
- Toast or English muffin
Instructions:
- In a mug or bowl, crack 2 eggs and stir to break up the yolks. If you have milk on-hand, add a spoonful to the egg mixture along with a little salt & pepper. Cover the bowl or mug with a paper towel and cook for 2 minutes in the microwave. Set aside.
- Heat sausage in the microwave according to the instructions on the package.
-  Break the eggs apart and put them in a bowl. Top with the cooked sausage and shredded cheese and serve it with a piece of toast or an english muffin.
