5 Easter Sides

These 5 Easter Sides are the perfect accompaniment to the main entree on such a special day.   These are my favorite, staples for Easter Sunday – whether you’re serving lunch or dinner!

My Favorite 5 Easter Sides:

Mom’s Mac & Cheese

My Mom’s Mac & Cheese is the perfect side dish for Easter!  It’s creamy, cheesy, and topped with crunchy Ritz crackers.  This is a upgrade from your regular mac & cheese…..but it’s the one you’ll keep coming back to for seconds for sure! mom's mac & cheese

Summer Pasta Salad

My Summer Pasta Salad is packed full of flavor with broccoli, bacon, cheese, bowtie pasta and a delicious, sweet dressing.  This salad is perfect served cold or at room temperature so no need to heat up the oven for another dish.  You’ll want to keep this pasta salad around for summer.  It’s a great, hearty lunch too!

Sauteed Squash and Zucchini

Sauteed Squash and Zucchini is an easy, simple dish with just the right amount of crunch.  Fresh squash, zucchini, and onion are cooking in a skillet and then transferred to an oven-proof dish and topped with a little grated cheese and handful of breadcrumbs.

Parmesan Crusted Potatoes

My family’s favorite way to eat potatoes is with crispy parmesan cheese melted onto them!  Add these to a bowl with garlic, salt, pepper, and oil and then add them to a pan of grated parmesan cheese.  When the potatoes are baked, the cheese sticks to the bottom and becomes crispy and delicious!  These are perfect with any protein.

Broccoli Salad

I think this Broccoli Salad might be my all-time favorite side dish.  Packed full of fresh, crunchy broccoli, salty bacon, sharp cheddar cheese, chopped red onion, a delicious dressing, and sprinkled with sunflower seeds (which are optional but SO good).  This is a no-cook salad so it comes together in no time with just a little chopping.  Even people who claim they don’t like broccoli LOVE this salad!!

Make any of these sides for a perfect Easter dinner!
