Homemade Pizza Rolls are a delicious snack filled with your favorite pizza toppings & cheese, rolled up in store-bought dough, and baked in a muffin tin. Grab a couple for lunch, an afternoon snack, or an appetizer!
As a freshman in college living in a dorm at UGA, I lived off of those little frozen pizza rolls that always burned the sh*t out of your mouth! A plate of those was my lunch or dinner most days. I LOVED them! Healthy? Not so much!!
Now I’m not claiming my Homemade Pizza Rolls are healthy necessarily – but they ARE homemade and made with ingredients I can at least pronounce. After years of the frozen kind, these definitely taste fancy & OH so much better!
You can keep these in the fridge and heat them up when you’re ready to eat them or you can freeze them and save them for a busy night when you don’t have time to cook. Whenever you eat them, I think you (& your family) will love them!
Here’s how to make Homemade Pizza Rolls:
Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Roll pizza dough out on counter and cut into 12 small squares.
Step 2: Top square with pizza sauce, shredded mozzarella, and any other toppings. You could add any veggies as well.
Step 3: Pull sides of dough up and over ingredients. Place in muffin tin, seam side down.
Step 4: Brush with egg wash, sprinkle with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt & pepper. Cook for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
