Fruit Tart
I love a fruit tart! Filled high with kiwi, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, and a delicious cream filled tart. For me, its just the perfect dessert!
Ingredients
- For the tart dough:
- 1 1/2 sticks of butter
- 1 1/4 cups of all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- For the filling:
- 8 oz package of cream cheese
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- For the topping:
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
- Kiwi optional
- Blackberries
Instructions
- For the pastry dough:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Mix together the flour, sugar, and vanilla in a food processor. Press into a pie pan, using your fingers to push the dough up the sides of the pan.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes until lightly browned.
- For the filling:
- Using a hand mixer or standing mixer, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until mixed well. Once the dough has cooled, add the filling to the pie crust.
- Top with all of the fruit in any pretty design you like!
