Oven Baked Bacon is the easiest (and cleanest) way to make perfectly crispy bacon!   No more floppy microwave bacon here!!  Make an entire pan of crispy bacon in just about 15-20 minutes.

Ahhh….bacon!  That little delicious ingredient that just makes any recipe better (ok – except for ice cream)!

When I was young and had a really, really fast metabolism, I would eat bacon sandwiches before bed.  Let that sink in a minute……2 pieces of white bread with at least 4 pieces of bacon inside!  Healthy – not so much but they certainly were delicious.  I can’t even imagine doing that now that I’m 40!!  My point in telling you that story is to say that I always microwaved my bacon growing up.  It wasn’t until I was an adult that I even thought about cooking it in a skillet – and it was even later that I realized the crispy bacon I got in restaurants wasn’t fried in a skillet but baked in an oven.  WHAT?! Oven baked bacon??? It made bacon sound…..well…healthy to me!

Now that I’m older and wiser (ok only one of those is true), I’m 100% an bacon-in-the-oven girl.   It just comes out perfectly crispy EVERY time and the cleanup is a breeze.  Make sure to line the pan with foil so the only thing you have to wash is the baking rack.

How to make Oven Baked Bacon:

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Line a baking sheet with foil and top with a baking rack.  Spray the rack well with non-stick spray.
  • Lay bacon pieces flat on the rack.
  • Cook bacon for 15-20 minutes or until crispy!

It’s THAT easy!!
