Bacon and Balsamic Brussels Sprouts – my family’s favorite side for any meal! Delicious roasted Brussels Sprouts sprinkled with bacon and drizzled with balsamic right before serving. They are the perfect side dish for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or any family dinner. Â
I’m always looking for a delicious side that everyone in the family likes – including the kids!  I don’t know that I’d love Brussels Sprouts if they weren’t cooked with bacon and drizzled with balsamic….but I’ll never have to find out because this is the ONLY way I make them now.  I mean, you can’t go wrong with bacon, right??
What I love about these Brussels Sprouts is how adaptable the recipe is to the size of your crowd. If you’re only feeding 3 or 4 people, just use half the bag of brussels sprouts and bake them in a small glass dish. If you’re feeding a crowd for Thanksgiving or a holiday meal, fill up an entire baking sheet with them.
How to make Bacon and Balsamic Brussels Sprouts:
- First, trim the ends off the brussels sprouts and cut any large ones in half. Some people prefer to pull off some of the outside leaves but I love leaving them on and letting them nice and crispy!
- Spread them out on a baking sheet (or glass baking dish if you’re only making a few). Drizzle with olive oil, salt and pepper and mix them around to coat them all evenly.
- Using kitchen shears, cut small pieces of uncooked bacon and spread it over the brussels sprouts.
- Cook on 400 for about 20 minutes or until they look nice and browned.
- Take them out of the oven and drizzle a little balsamic vinegar over the top.
