- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 1/2 tbsp honey

- Drizzle each of the pork chops with olive oil on both sides and rub the seasoning mixture all over both sides of the pork chops.
- Heat an oven-proof skillet over medium/high heat. When pan is hot, add the pork chops and cook until browned on each side - about 2 minutes per side.

Let the liquid cook for 2-3 minutes and then transfer the skillet to the oven. Cook the pork chops in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 140 degrees.
- Remove from the oven and cover the skillet with foil or a lid for 5 minutes.
Pork chops are one of my favorite meals to make – you can easily find them for a great price bone-in or boneless and can flavor them in so many different ways. I was raised having what we called “breakfast pork chops” for breakfast many weekends. My mom would simply pan-fry the pork in a skillet and serve them with eggs and biscuits. Not being a huge breakfast eater now, I prefer pork chops for dinner and always prefer them flavored as simply as possible.
My Apple Cider Pork Chops are are so simple and delicious and only take about 20 minutes start to finish. The honey and apple cider vinegar are great compliments to the briny pork chops and leave them super juicy and tender.
Here’s how to make Apple Cider Pork Chops:
- Heat your oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix the seasoning rub together in a small bowl. Drizzle each of the pork chops with olive oil and rub the seasonings all over both sides of the pork chops.
- Heat an oven-proof skillet over medium/high heat. Once the pan is hot, add the pork chops and cook until browned on each side. It should take about 2-3 minutes per side.
- While the pork chops are browning, whisk the chicken broth, apple cider vinegar, and honey in a small bowl. Slowly add it to the skillet with the pork chops. Cook for another 2-3 minutes and then transfer the skillet to the oven.
- Let the pork chops cook in the oven for about 10 minutes or until the internal temperature hits 140 degrees. Remove from the oven and let them sit under foil for 5 minutes or so.
- If you are using boneless pork chops, make sure not to overcook them! I like to take them out of the oven at 140 degrees and let them continue to cook the last few degrees by tenting the skillet with foil after they come out of the oven. I also test them with a fork by pushing the back of the fork against the pork chops. If they feel pretty firm, the pork chops are ready!
