Oh January – the month when 4 weeks feels like an eternity, when we’re all a little depressed the holidays are over and the decorations are down, and reality hits us all that we’ve probably been overindulging since….let’s be honest….Halloween.   But January is also about fresh starts and I love the idea of starting 2024 off in a healthy, money saving way!
If you’re anything like me, Dry January might be something you’ve usually rolled your eyes about in the past.   Four weeks off drinking in the worst month of the year?!  However, this concept of a fresh, healthy start to the year has encouraged so many people to ditch the alcohol, save some money, and start the new year off on a positive note.
If I’m going to attempt to detox after the holidays, I need a mocktail that makes me feel like I have a cocktail in my hand. My Spiced Apple Mocktail is just that – tangy, a little sweet, bubbly, and so good you’ll never miss the alcohol.

Spiced Apple Mocktail
Equipment
- shaker
Ingredients
- 2 oz apple cider
- 2 oz ginger beer
- 1 oz cranberry juice
- ice
- cinnamon stick
- apple slice
Instructions
- Add apple cider, ginger beer, and cranberry juice to a shaker and fill with ice.
- Shake well and pour into a martini glass. Garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
