Tuna and Avocado Tartare

Delicious tuna, avocado, and fresh citrus make this recipe a perfect appetizer or light meal! Get ready to be OBSESSED!! This dish is my spring and summer favorite - and so healthy.  If you can't find tuna, you can always use salmon as well or a mix of the two.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb fresh tuna, salmon, or a mix of the two
  • 1 1/2 avocados, chopped
  • 2 tsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Ponzu sauce (or soy sauce)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp minced ginger
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 tsp orange zest

Instructions
 

  • Chop fish into small cubes or bite-sized pieces.  Add to large bowl.   Chop avocado and add to bowl.  Add rest of ingredients and gently stir. 
  • Serve with multigrain crackers or thinly sliced crostinis.
