Fresh Pico de Gallo

My Pico de Gallo is a fresh, flavorful, spicy dip and is perfect served with tortilla chips or on top of chicken or meat. It's a great, quick summer recipe!

Ingredients
  

  • 5-6 chopped Roma tomatoes
  • 1/2 sweet onion, diced
  • 1 jalapeno or Serrano pepper, diced
  • 1/2 can diced, fire roasted tomatoes
  • Juice from 1/2 a lime
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp Sazon seasoning
  • salt & pepper

Instructions
 

  • Chop the tomatoes, onion, and pepper and add to a large bowl.
  • Add 1/2 can of diced, fire roasted tomatoes WITH the juice.
  • Squeeze the juice of 1/2 a lime into the mixture
  • Add seasonings and stir well. Serve with tortilla chips or use as a topping for grilled chicken or meat.
